Echocardiogram (Echo)
During this painless test, a microphone-like device is held against your chest. When it’s placed at different angles, the ultrasound waves it produces reflect off different parts of your heart and create a picture on a video screen. These images provide important information about how your heart is functioning.
Diagnoses these conditions:
- Aneurysm
- Arrhythmia
- Atrial Fibrillation
- Blocked Arteries
- Heart Failure
- Hole in Your Heart
